Getting there
The vibe
“Working fishing village by the sea”
A working fishing harbour where colourful boats come in with the day's catch. Not a swimming beach — go for the atmosphere, fresh fish at the small kitchens around the bay, and a real slice of island life.

Small beach reached over a low sea wall; pebble-and-sand mix with limited shade.
About
Tiny working-village beach behind the sea wall at Sint Michiel, home to a colourful fishing pier, Boka Beach Oceanclub and a string of no-frills fish restaurants. The water is calm and clear, and flamingos are often spotted in the inland salt pan just behind the bay. The best local beach near town, with a beach club and a trail toward Kokomo. Flamingo viewpoints over Sint Michiel Bay make it a favourite stop for photographers.
